Rebeka Kiss is a junior research fellow at the Institute for Legal Studies, ELTE Centre for Social Sciences, and a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences at the University of Public Service. She completed her studies in data science and artificial intelligence methodology through specialised programmes at Kürt Academy (STRT), Erasmus+ WICT and the Cubix Institute. In her earlier research, she examined social and regulatory challenges using qualitative and quantitative approaches involving text mining and artificial intelligence.

In recognition of her outstanding performance she was awarded the National Higher Education Scholarship, the Doctoral Student Scholarship of the Cooperative Doctoral Programme (KDP), as well as research scholarships of the New National Excellence Programme (ÚNKP), the Thematic Excellence Programme and the University Research Scholarship Programme (EKÖP). She regularly publishes her research results in prestigious international journals such as Comparative European Politics, the Journal of the Knowledge Economy and Policy Studies.

She has extensive Hungarian and international project experience. Among others, she has taken part in the Comparative Agendas Project (CAP, 2019–2026), the Political and Legal Text Mining & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (poltextLAB, 2019–2026) and BABELGLOB – Global Analysis of Public Policy Framing with Artificial Intelligence (NKFI Excellence, no. 151324, 2024–2026). She is currently a participating researcher in the MTA Lendület project “Perspectives and Limits of Algorithmic Constitutionalism” and deputy project leader of the CONSTAD – Political Concepts in Constitutional Adjudication research project at Comenius University (Slovak Research and Development Agency, no. APVV-24-0238).

Since 2024 she has been a committee member of the Digital Ethics Task Group of ERCIM (European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics), and since 2025 an AI Ambassador of the HUN-REN AI 4 Science Programme; she is also a member of the editorial board of Intersections. East European Journal of Society and Politics.

Since 2026 she has been a researcher of the MTA-ELTE TK School and Health Research Group, established within the Public Education Development Research Programme of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
