Ágnes Győri PhD is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Sociology, ELTE Centre for Social Sciences. She holds degrees in sociology and cultural anthropology and is a qualified secondary school history teacher. She obtained her doctoral degree in sociology in 2015 at Corvinus University of Budapest. Her fields of expertise are the sociology of health and education. Her earlier research focused on the methodological development of vocational teacher training, teacher assessment and knowledge-transfer tools influencing different learning motivations, and social differences in occupational and school choices. Her other research areas concern mental health, risk factors for burnout, and the consequences of psychosocial stress. Curriculum vitae |

Szilvia Ádám PhD is an associate professor at Semmelweis University and a supervisor at its Doctoral School of Mental Health Sciences. A sociologist and economist, she obtained her PhD in clinical medical sciences in 2009. She has extensive research experience in studying children’s health behaviour and the psychosocial determinants of childhood diseases. In her most recent research, she examined the effects of psychosocial and socioeconomic factors on mathematics anxiety among upper primary school students. Her earlier research focused on risk factors for burnout, the prevention of depression and suicide, and the management of workplace stress. Curriculum vitae |

Gábor Erőss PhD is a senior research fellow at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences. He pursued his doctoral studies in sociology simultaneously at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and at ELTE, and defended his dissertation at EHESS in 2003. His main research areas are education, public policy and the sociology of health. He has taken part in numerous Hungarian and international research projects. Between 2006 and 2011, in a large international comparative study, his research team examined the use of scientific and lay knowledge in education and health policies. Anna Kiss PhD is a research fellow at the Department of Science Policy and Scientometrics at the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She qualified as a dietitian and nutrition scientist at the University of Pécs and Semmelweis University. She obtained her doctoral degree in food science in 2021 from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She also pursued doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of Education at ELTE PPK, where she defended her dissertation in 2025. Her main research areas are the promotion of sustainable nutrition, the effects of Hungarian school catering on children’s health, the disease burden of obesity, and the impact of prevention programmes on vulnerable groups. Éva Perpék PhD is a research fellow at the Children’s Opportunities Research Group of the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences. She holds degrees in sociology, social policy and economics. She studied abroad at the University of Trento (Italy) and MGIMO University (Russia). She obtained her PhD in sociology from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2013. Her main research areas are children’s family and institutional developmental environments and needs, the promotion of equal opportunities for children, the relationships between mental health, working conditions and health among human service professionals. Júlia Galántai PhD is a research fellow at the Institute for Sociology, ELTE Centre for Social Sciences. She obtained her PhD in 2024 from the Doctoral School of Sociology at Eötvös Loránd University. She previously worked as a researcher at the Institute for Analytical Sociology at Linköping University, the RECENS Computational Social Science Research Group, and the Hungarian Institute for Educational Research and Development. Her main research areas include the division of labour within the family, gender roles, computational text analysis and text mining. Rebeka Kiss is a junior research fellow at the Institute for Legal Studies, ELTE Centre for Social Sciences, and a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences at the University of Public Service. She completed her studies in data science and artificial intelligence methodology through specialised programmes at Kürt Academy (STRT), Erasmus+ WICT and the Cubix Institute. In her earlier research, she examined social and regulatory challenges using qualitative and quantitative approaches involving text mining and artificial intelligence.
